If you are an ESL teacher in China,
1. How long did it take to find a job ?
2. When did you actually start teaching after the job offer?
3. How many offers did you have? Did you have a choice?
4. Is it everything that you expected?
Thanks !

I’ve been thinking about travelling to China after I graduate this year, and teaching english there for a few years. This would give me the opportunity to travel and learn a lot more about China, its culture and its language. However, I’m trying to find a job that I can start directly after I graduate from high school, and I’m having trouble. Can anyone help me?

I graduated with a Major in history, A minor in both Chinese language and Psychology. I can speak Mandarin Chinese. I want to find a job where I can travel a lot, meet lots of people, and speak a lot of Chinese. I live in Shanghai, China. I currently teach English (which I’m a little tired of)

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what type of job I should try and how I should go about finding it.

Thanks!

I work in an American company in Suzhou China. I am currently looking to recruit foreigners willing to relocate and join our company. I have utilized many of the major job sites and I have been hiring candidates from them. I am not however, getting the desired response. Any suggestions on other sites to recruit from?
The pay is on a Chinese scale so it is low by American standards, but much higher than what the average Chinese employee makes. We are looking for people with bachelor’s degrees or above to fill positions as English teachers, translators, security managers, IT Project managers, and Graphic Artists
